Hello there!
My name is Patricia, and I’m an ice cream enthusiast.
I’ve been creating homemade ice cream for several years now, pretty much turning my kitchen into an ice cream laboratory, buying key ingredients in bulk, and using friends and family as taste testers.
As I got comfortable with creating different flavors, I started approaching ice cream making with the same attitude I approach savory cooking — essentially, throwing the measuring cups in the trash.
For the most part, the ice cream turns out great, but I get frustrated when I forget the measurements of a recipe that I made in the past, and I can’t replicate on first try.
I created Cremosa to document the best versions of all my recipes, so I don’t have to memorize them or guess anymore. Hoping to share all my ice cream secrets with the world, but even more importantly, remember them for myself!
Fun Facts:
I’m lactose intolerant, but I’ll always make the exception for ice cream!
In college, I went on a one-month study abroad program to Italy. For those 30 days, I ate gelato every single day— and sometimes, more than once.
I once placed 4th in a food eating contest. (We ate noodles.)
